Kurow Hill
take a stroll to the top for amazing views
Kurow Hill, a fairly steep climb to the top but the stunning views that await at the top are well worth it! The climb takes around 45 minutes to the top, be sure to carry some snacks and water with you.
You feel like you can almost see the coast 60km away to the east, and the beautiful Hakataramea valley stretches to the north.To the west, you can see two of the hydroelectric power stations, the third, a promise just out of reach.
The track is maintained by the Kurow Trails Committee a group of volunteers who have also carried couches up the trail so you can sit down and rest to enjoy the views on your journey! The Kurow Trails Committee also look after the Kurow Wetlands Project, be sure to check it out when you visit.
