Beach Road will take you along the coast towards Kakanui. The road hugs the coast, be sure to drive carefully, you can park at the bottom of Thousand Acre road for a walk along the beach, more often than not you’ll be the only person there!
Surfers can often be seen here, as can seals, seabirds, and the odd fisherman.
